Environmental and Public Health Engineering Degrees

Environmental public health engineers use engineering concepts and techniques to solve problems relating to public health and the environment. Primarily they work on controlling pollution in the air and water and on recycling, trash control and other public health concerns. Public health engineers also design and maintain systems for regulating and monitoring wastewater and air treatment systems for government, industrial and commercial entities. An environmental public health engineering professional must have a solid foundation in engineering as well as extensive knowledge of ecology, chemistry, physics, public health and geology.
