Mathematical Statistics Degrees: General Info
A General Mathematical Stats degree program is going to provide instruction in mathematical statistics and probability. Students are trained in understanding the relationships, similarities and differences between groups of measurements. They then learn to use probability techniques and theories to understand what those statistics mean or may mean in a future situation. Students receive instruction in different statistical methods and techniques, sampling theory, principles of probability theory, standard deviation and stochastic processes.
