Writing Composition: Degree Information
Students interested in teaching, writing or other literary careers should consider completing a bachelor's degree program in Literary Composition. In this degree program, students focus on improving writing skills. Students will learn the proper form of research essays, theses, speeches, narratives and many other forms of literary composition. Students will also study the form and history of the English language, along with the rules of grammar and style. Coursework will also expose students to great writers throughout history, from early philosophers to postmodern novelists. Graduates of Literary Composition degree programs will be able to pursue careers in journalism, speechwriting, academia and other general writing professions.
