Religious and Theological Studies: General Info
Those entering into a Religious and Theological Studies program usually do so because they feel a calling to serve in a particular ministry. Many enter the work force as pastors or ministers working for various sized churches. Others go on to be youth leaders, church secretaries or religious school teachers or administrators. Pay greatly fluctuates within this field. Pastors and workers for extremely large churches or religious organizations earn much more than those working for smaller churches. Youth leaders and song leaders are many times non-paying positions while missionaries depend upon the support they raise for a salary.
