Degrees in Human Resources: General Information
Human Resources and HR Management degree programs prepare students to manage employees in the workplace environment and to understand all of the issues and concerns that go along with this responsibility. Human resources professionals are responsible for recruiting new employees for businesses and organizations, for overseeing those employees' training and integration into the workplace, for making sure employee rights are respected and for facilitating professional employer-employee relations. Students of human resources management must also study organizational behavior so as to understand the way people work in groups in order to help them become more productive, efficient and satisfied workers.
