Environmental Safety Engineering: General Information
Environmental safety engineering involves the regulation of systems that monitor and control the amount of pollutants and other waste in the natural environment. Examples of such systems include the ones that regulate and monitor the levels of contaminants in wastewater expelled from water filtration facilities. Environmental safety engineers must have advanced proficiency in technical mathematics and must be able to create mathematical abstractions of real world scenarios in order to solve complex engineering problems. Environmental safety engineering professionals must also understand both chemistry and physics.
