Teacher's Aide Education: General Info
Teacher's aides or assistants provide an invaluable assistance to teachers at all levels of education. They help teacher's manage classrooms, work one on one with students, supervise playground and cafeterias and often help with record keeping. Teacher's aides play a critical role in helping students with disabilities both in special education and traditional classrooms. And while a teaching position requires a bachelor's degree, teacher's aides can find work with only a high school diploma although this is rare in today's educational facilities. Title I schools require college in order to find employment and an associate's or bachelor's degree greatly enhances employment opportunities. Proper teacher's aide education will prepare you for a fulfilling career.
