Psychological Behavior Studies: General Info
Our behavior not only affects our lives but the lives of those around us. Psychological behavior studies looks into the behaviors that make us what we are and influences our daily actions. Classes provide instruction in testing and assessment to determine if behavior disorders exist and to decide upon potential treatment. Behavioral and social conditions are studied, as are psychopharmacology, human growth and development along with patient/doctor relationships, ethical standards and regulation standards. Graduates are able to diagnose and treat mental disorders and behavioral issues and to help individuals deal with stress and the problems arising from work, home and daily life. Other areas of study may include psychotherapy, family and child/adolescence counseling, clinical procedures and interviewing techniques.
